Takara‘s Hisashi Yuki is not stopping this train, as he has just updated his Twitter once more with a look at the prototype for the upcoming Unite Warriors Nosecone!
Nosecone here is pretty different from his Hasbro Combiner Wars counterpart… in that he’s using an entirely different base mold, Rook, instead of Brawl. However, Takara has changed up the mold significantly, adding a giant drill, treads, a brand new head sculpt – and not one, not two, but three new guns. The third gun can also be attached above his head scorpion tail-style and, being a retool of Rook, he also shares that mold’s popular knuckle peg feature, compatible with the new guns and, yes, even the drill. In other words, there definitely seems to be a lot of play value packed into this guy. And all of this means that the vehicle mode’s appearance has been dramatically altered, and is much more accurate to G1.
It seems it won’t be too long until we get a Yuki-look at the final Technobot, Strafe, and hopefully the big guy himself, Computron!
